And we are back!

Moved to a bigger server. Some optimizations and updates were done too.

Great. I’m glad to hear things got worked out. I would also like to take this time to support the current push for more stop motion boobies. I think this is a cause that we can all get behind. Thank you and God bless.

The “Start Over” button does not work for me. I’ve refreshed and gone back to the page multiple times, but I have to refresh the page every time I need to start over.

hi! i love web cam stop motion thing and by extension, love you for making it. i think it would be way groovy to have some sort of feature where you could leave comments (either directly on the animations or in an “i saw you” sort of format) so i can get my flirt on with the abundance of anon web cam stop motion thing users. PLEASE HELP ME MAKE MORE INTERNET LOVERS.

thanks
shanay

Very nice. Few things…

The Watch… link on http://www.piterwilson-toys.com/wcsmt/maker.html is broken.

Definitely needs some way to allow image moderation. 1 out of every hundred is some dude wanking.

love the site, i use it alot because i dont even personally know how to make things though
i do wish that you had some way to make the animated gifs only stay on the website temporarily, so that they could go back to being the orignial size opposed to the new tiny size

mary said,

it’d be nice if you could make an option where the .gifs could be emailed to you instead of put up for everyone to see

(the exception of course being stop-motion boobs, which everyone should be entitled to see)

i wish we could make the stop-motion-things longer. even though 10 slides keeps it short and to the point, there are so many things i’d like to do with more than just 10

I agree with the person that said

“it’d be nice if you could make an option where the .gifs could be emailed to you instead of put up for everyone to see”

I’m kinda freaked out that everyone else can see me in my stop motion glory o_o

i love this place so much

but how about giving people the option to attatch their email to the gif somehow? people seem to want to interact with eachother but all they can do is write notes. and that only works as long as it is on the ‘recent’ page.

i’m kind of upset that this never works for me.
i have all my applications that could ever possibly use my iSight closed and although i click “allow” every time, it never works.

i have a one week old macbook with leopard, this shocks me.

Piterwilson said,

July 7, 2008 @ 10:52 pm

sadlady,

Just make sure you have the right camera chosen on the list and that no other application is using the camera at the moment.

Right click / settings then click the webcam icon. There’s a list there.

I got a macbook and i have to choose “USB Video class video” from the list.

Gravatar

Patrick said,

July 8, 2008 @ 9:10 pm

I would suggest a horizontal row at the bottom which lists every frame as it’s taken in which the user can rearrange the order of the final gif’s frames by dragging and dropping.

Also the ability to add simple effects to individual frames, such as burn and dodge, hue/saturation, brightness/contrast, etc.

Gravatar

adam said,

July 21, 2008 @ 8:07 pm

forcing images to be posted publicly is the reason there isn’t even more nudity. that’s the self-censor, and i think it’s clever.

adding more features to tweak the video defeats the purpose! if you want more features, get an actual animated GIF creator, etc.

i agree about the idea to leave simple comments. maybe even just a 30 character text space so people could leave their email, short notes, etc.

Gravatar

staas said,

is there a way you can make it automatically do a capture every X amount of seconds?

i want to make gifs of me playing music and stuff like that, which i can’t do with one hand on the spacebar

Gravatar

Jay Haas said,

you should delete all the notes, one frame shots or pics with people doing incredibly boring things that are taking up your bandwidth

Gravatar

t. said,

make a delete button. or that we can choose if it can be posted in the public gallery or not.

Brad said,

Can we get page numbers? I want to be able to see the conversations back and forth and be able to say “find my gifs on page 723″ or something. Sometimes I make a gif and it is not on the Recent for very long and i can’t find it when I want to send it to a friend. I would also like to start on page 1 and see all of the gifs from the beginning.

tonyside said,

Gravatar

eLGee said,

Page numbers is AWESOME, and that you managed to implement it so fast is impressive. I know I would like the ability to add tags and leave comments on a WCSMT, but I understand if it’s too much to ask for. Just a suggestion. :)

Also, more boobs.

any suggestions?

Megan said,

it does work for leopard, and i hope all of you fellow mac people are reading this!

when you are on the screen to “allow” or “deny” access, CONTROL + CLICK that window, and click SETTINGS. Then, of the 5 tabs, click the one with the webcam (on the far right, next to the “close” button). From the drop down menu, choose USB Video Class Video. Then close, and allow access.

Brilliance!
